In principle, drug-related crime (use, purchase and/or sale of narcotics (BtM)) and the associated acquisition crime are matters for law enforcement authorities. However, wherever the public interest in preventing and solving drug-related offenses overlaps with the personal economic or security-related interests of our clients, the detectives of Aaden Corporate Detective Agency Stuttgart are also available to investigate such suspicions: +49 711 7153 011-0.
Drug addiction affects all social classes and professions – poor and wealthy, educated and uneducated, employed and unemployed individuals are affected. The performance-enhancing effects of certain drugs and pharmaceuticals are frequently discussed in the media, while the legality or criminality of the consumption of many lesser-known substances is often of secondary importance. While certain pharmaceutical products are legally available and approved for use, the same substances may be prohibited as doping agents in competitive sports. Nevertheless, their consumption would not constitute an offense under the Narcotics Act, but would only be relevant under sports law, and therefore does not require proof by our Stuttgart detectives (competitive athletes are, upon request, subject to official testing anyway).
The situation is significantly different with drugs such as heroin, cocaine, ecstasy, and similar substances in connection with employment relationships or custody matters. These substances are illegal in any case and fall under the Narcotics Act. While cocaine, for example, is considered performance-enhancing, this effect is only temporary; additionally, the “cool-down phase” (also known as “coming down”) is accompanied by severe concentration disorders and behavioral abnormalities, and ultimately cocaine – like almost all narcotics – is addictive. As a result, the thoughts of a drug user revolve more around obtaining new drugs than around their private or professional life.

Drug and medication abuse in the workplace can cause significant losses in employee performance and reliability. In the worst case, an employer may suffer substantial damage due to employee misconduct.
As an employer, you are understandably interested in having a capable employee who fully applies their performance potential to their work. If one of your employees shows deficiencies in their performance, there may be many possible reasons and motives; drug use and addiction are among them more often than one might assume. In cases of corresponding suspicion, our corporate detectives in Stuttgart will help you determine the causes of the reduced performance. Investigations are, of course, conducted on a case-specific basis and, above all, with the utmost discretion. You will receive the evidence from us in court-admissible written form. Our detectives in Stuttgart are available for a consultation in person, by phone, or by email: info@aaden-detektive-stuttgart.de.
In cases of imminent danger, we can also take active measures to protect the individual affected by drug addiction, in order to stop the social and health-related downward spiral that often accompanies drug abuse at an early and, above all, timely stage. The numerous images published in recent years of crystal meth users, documenting the rapid physical decline of those affected, are certainly familiar to all of us and should serve as a warning to act quickly.
